Youtube

To find the best digital tool, we need to think universally. First of all,
it is best if we can use it in every situation. For example, an educational institution is simultaneously full of expected and unexpected situations. Therefore, responding to all challenges on time and on merit is essential. Not to mention that in a high school, up to six different classes (9-14) have to present the same digital device. In this case, I would prefer something other than an application but a website. And this website is none other than Youtube.
This website is entirely free with no hidden costs, like Kahoot! The only financial benefit that does not affect us is viewing advertisements, but that's all we can do for such a level of service. We have millions of resources on YouTube. First of all, the videos are perfect for practising listening comprehension. Thanks to the broad user base, we can introduce our students to any accent to add some colour to the task.
My personal experience is that audiobooks are the best for listening practice. However, even in this case, we can choose from a wide range since several users upload the same book.
Last but not least, in my secondary school, a lot of emphases is placed on professional education. Every class studying a profession must also learn a professional foreign language. In these cases, I like to look for educational videos in which professional skills are presented and the foreign language vocabulary is developed. For example, waitpersons learn to recommend a wine and embed a text like: I would offer Cabernet Sauvignon from Takler Winery, Szekszárd. But students can not see how to act next to the table or how to open a bottle of wine, although I can show them through Youtube.
