Boost your writing

To my way of thinking, this is the first task that is really close to me because when I started my university studies, I immediately looked for a website to develop my ESL writing skills. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful, so I asked my friends and colleagues. Someone recommended me Grammarly, which was the first time I heard about this website.

Grammarly is an online writing assistant that you can use online or download to your devices. It is a really flexible program because you can use it on social media, emails, documents etc. I have used the online version for a year now. There are free and premium versions, and the latter is affordable. In Grammarly, you can set goals like Domain, Intent, Audience and Formality. Grammarly also makes suggestions while you write about correctness, clarity, engagement and delivery.

I am keen on it; feedback is instant. I instantly see my mistakes; moreover, the programme checks wordy words to avoid basic vocabulary. And last but not least, thanks to the inbuilt searching machine you can monitor plagiarism. To tell the truth after half a year I just realised it counts words, so I don't need to copy-paste my homeworks to other applications to check the number of the words.

My other alternative is Instatext, it was the second match on google so this why its here. You can easily registrate to this website with Gmail or Facebook, than a relatively short tour shows you the functions. It means easy to use but similar aswell. Users can write a window where nothing happens, you need to click on a button and your work will show up in another window. You will seee your mistakes in red and suggestions in green and that is all.

To sum up, Grammarly could boost everyone's writing skills with useful features, but Instatext is acceptable for students who wants to check grammar easily and fast.
