I'm lucky in this situation because Kahoot and Quizlet are the two most significant and most well-known quiz sites worldwide, but certainly in Europe. Most teachers definitely use or have used one of these applications. To tell the truth, you have to pay for premium services everywhere, but both applications offer free options for education. Fortunately, they perfectly meet the needs of teachers and students too. I have already used both for educational purposes like broadening our students' minds and practised with Quizlet to cover my university studies.

Kahoot is more for students or groups of students to compete with each other, regardless of the topic. On the other hand, Kahoot can break the monotonous traditional teaching methods with a bit of gamification. The competitive spirit and the desire to beat each other is an excellent motivational basis. However, it would be best if you spent a few hours getting to know the application to become a conscious user. The only drawback is that if we want to make using the application even a little more interesting, even for one colour, we have to buy a premium package.

The Quizlet focuses more on supporting independent learning. You can search for the content you want to learn in an almost infinite range of topics and levels of difficulty. This application uses flashcards to discover new knowledge. One side shows the question and task, while the other side shows the solution. Of course, they also try to take advantage of the competitive spirit, so even an entire class can compete to see who is the best in a given topic.

Unfortunately, I could not attend Márta's presentation, although I am sure that Márti was extraordinarily prepared and gave the others a well-planned, enjoyable lesson. And it would not be ethical for me to analyze my lesson.
